We are seeking to vectorize and rearrange the elements of our current logo. Please download the attached files for your reference and usage.

You can use the actual logo, vectorize it and "play" with the elements (respecting the colors and the RAINBOW and the STAR have to be connected somehow, this is VERY IMPORTANT (see logo 2022 attached) -

Preserving the "handmade" aesthetic is of utmost importance to us, particularly when it comes to the "handwritten" words "A Caminho da Luz." - DO NOT USE OTHER FONTS - Ideally, we would like the entire logo to fit within a circular format to facilitate its use on our social media platforms. Currently, our logo is rectangular and we have problems using it in our socials. We either use it fitting all elements within the center of a circle, as seen on platforms like YouTube or Instagram (see attached screenshot: instagram fit.png), or selecting a smaller section like in Facebook (see attached screenshot: facebook fit.png).

To give you some insight into the logo's history and the style we wish to maintain, we have included background information.

Originally, our logo (comprising the rainbow, star, and "A Caminho da Luz" name) was entirely hand-drawn and handwritten by one of our teachers. Subsequently, it was scanned, and changed the rainbow and the star, and finally poorly digitalized in Photoshop (ups! sorry, at least it was no Canva).

Therefore, we require the "A Caminho da Luz" portion to be vectorized and enhanced - USE THE ORIGINAL TO VECTORIZE -. You are encouraged to experiment with the rainbow and star, adjusting their sizes and positions as you see fit. BUT USE THE ORIGINAL ELEMENTS RESPECTING COLORS-

You may also notice the phrases "Associação Educacional" and "Iniciativa Social Waldorf," which we usually add in Baar Zeitgeist's font. However, please note that these are provided for your information only. - DO NOT INCLUDE IN THE LOGO - We decide whether or not to include these descriptions in the logo at a later stage.

About our school:

We are a non-profit association situated in the rural areas encompassing the municipalities of Resende-RJ, Itatiaia-RJ, and Bocaina de Minas-MG. We operate as a Waldorf Social Initiative. Since our inception in 1986, "A Caminho da Luz" has been dedicated to providing educational services, including Early Childhood Education, Elementary School (first cycle), Complementary Workshops, Study Groups, Events, Educational Meetings, and more, all with a focus on the holistic development of each individual.

In 2018, we welcomed the Guajupiá - Center for Education and Social Action, which primarily serves young people and adults with disabilities. Their base, previously located in the village of Visconde de Mauá, became part of "A Caminho da Luz."

In 2019, the Educational Association A Caminho da Luz was established to oversee the programs we offer and to continue providing a nurturing, holistic, and humanitarian education to the children from the rural areas of Visconde de Mauá. Our goal is to foster lasting emotional connections that span generations, as many of our former students are now parents of the current generation at "A Caminho da Luz."
