Process One-on-One project


These are the usual steps in a one-on-one project:-

1. The service offering


The client selects the service offering from a designer or directly contacts a designer through the designer portfolio overview ‘Hire a designer’.

2. Chat functionality


The client and designer use the one-on-one chat functionality to discuss the project to clarify the project requirements.

3. The offer


The designer defines the offer, including:

  • Project name

  • Price

  • Delivery time

  • Deliverables

  • Description

4. Sign off


The client signs off on the offer and prepays the amount held in escrow by LogoLeague until project completion.

5. Brand Kit


The client shares their brand kit with the designer. The brand kit includes:

  • Source files

  • Logo usage guidelines

  • Font usage guidelines

  • Brand voice

  • Other brand materials such as icons, illustrations, and photos.

6. Collaboration


The client and designer collaborate on making the project, sharing information, sketches, and drafts. Drafts can be shared via the paperclip function next to the chat box. The client provides feedback.

7. Final Files


After the client approves the drafts as ‘final’, the designer provides the final files for formal sign-off. These include all necessary source files.

8. Sign Off  Files

The client signs off on the final files, completes the project, and releases the escrowed payment to the designer. The client can download the source files, which will remain available on the site.

9.  Feedback

The client can leave a review for the designer, which helps attract future clients. The client can continue working on new projects.

After the dedicated project thread is closed the client and the designer can revert back to the general thread to continue the discussion for potential new projects.
